Chiropractic visits
for musculoskeletal complaints:
Initial visit: 45 minutes, $75-98 for cash-paying patients, depending on whether
x-rays are taken.
Return visits: 15 minutes, $42 for cash-paying patients.
If you wish to pay through insurance, it is your responsibility to make sure
that chiropractic treatment is covered by your plan prior to your first visit.
If you are seeking chiropractic care for musculoskeletal complaints, you can
fill out paperwork when you arrive at our office.
Pre-visit consult:
15 minutes, free.
This is purely to meet and see if what I have to offer is something you are
seeking. This does not take the place of treatment or an initial visit.
Naturopathic visits are often spread out, as I like to allow ample time for change to occur. Usually, the first visit includes a thorough history and a physical exam. If there are laboratory tests that I feel are appropriate, I will order them. Treatment is often begun on the second visit, which takes place 1-2 weeks after the initial visit.
Chiropractic treatment is often quite aggressive at first, including visits typically three times a week. Auto accident treatment may begin with daily visits. Visits taper off as treatment proceeds and the patient sees improvement. Treatment usually includes electric or vibrating massage and spinal and/or extremity manipulation. I also utilize manual traction and lower impact treatments such as the Activator when appropriate.
I accept cash, checks and credit cards. I also accept many types of insurance, and although issues that require naturopathic care may be reimbursed by insurance, I cannot guarantee that every cost will be covered. In particular, supplements are usually not covered. Issues that require chiropractic care are often covered by insurance, depending on ones plan.
I have found dietary modification to be among the most successful methods of achieving greater health. However, supplements are often necessary. My education enables me to discern the quality and potency of supplements available to you, the consumer. I pass this benefit on to you so you may purchase and use supplements that are the most effective. Often, consumers may have difficulty figuring out the difference between a high quality, useful supplement and one that is low-quality or useless. As a health care professional, I regularly use physician-only supplement lines that are potent and contain exactly what they say they do. Like many of my colleagues, I do not use or participate in multi-level marketed supplements, and I have no interest in doing so.
I am happy to co-manage your
case with medical or osteopathic physicians or nurse practitioners. I also refer
out to other qualified health care professionals as your needs require. I find
that patients often have the best success when health care professionals
collaborate for the common goal of optimal health. It is my goal to provide
effective, quality health care for you that uses natural methods to allow your
body to heal itself.
